Hey, i just thought i'd let every body know that a month or so ago i managed to capture a red eared slider at rosemeadow pond.
Also I was just down at eaglevale pond doing a little bit of carp fishing, When this red eared slider surfaced around me around 10 times, everytime the little bugger managed to evade my net. Seems we have a little problem with theese pesky things in my local area. Has any one else had any sitings of them around campbelltown and is there anywhere i could report the sitings?

You can report them to NPWS.
They may be common but they still decimate the enviroment, so need to be removed.
There is a dog that sniffs them out.

They are that common they might as well be considered native these days.

I wasn't aware that they were that common, atleast they were in the duckponds where its a feral animal sanctuary basically anyway. I'd hate to come across them in the georges river where iv'e come across some very nice short-necked turtles.
