Red Eye Green Tree Frogs

Hi guys I just have a question about red eyes. I see a lot of them having the blue coloration down the sides of the frogs but also some with out. Is it just the males with the blue? Or are there different types? I see someone in Melbourne selling them at the moment but none of the parents have any blue sides. Cheers for your help

The ones with the blue are a different species all together and are not native to Australia nor an introduced pest (to my knowlege) so we can't own them. The ones you see for sale in melbourne are red eye tree frogs (Litoria chloris). You will need an advanved wildlife licence to own them.
