Regarding sugar gliders

Hi does anyone know if you have sugar gliders as pets in queensland at all i really wanna buy one of here but don't know if i'm allowed to have one..

im not 100% on the subject but my friend wanted one and she said that you can but you need a demonstators licence or something? the idea being you use them to educate people on australian wildlife in talks and what not a certain amount of times a year or something. dont hold me to that though, thats just what i recall my friend saying.
