I have this little Striped Coastal that I've had for a couple of weeks now, I tried feeding her for the first time Yesterday (I thought I'd let her settle in first) and she took the little pinky fine, except when I came home today she'd regurgitated it up (also ew).
Her temps are 35 in her hot end and about 20 in her cool end, she also has plenty to climb on and a hide in each end of her tank. She's been pretty happy thus far and even had a perfect shed top to bottom.
I'm just a little worried cause she's only my second python but I never had any problem with the first regurgitating ever. Aside from it being really gross would there be any significant reason why she's not digesting her food properly??

Yep, that's the way to go in very hot conditions. Pinky? Pinky what? I would suggest that a pinky mouse is too small for a carpet hatchy, and if it was a pinky rat, it would be better for your snake's digestive system to have mice with fur and bones. A normal sized hatchy carpet can easily manage a weaner mouse, but don't feed during a heatwave...

She's quite small, I am feeding her on what the guy I got her off was feeding her on just to see how she goes. She's already been stressed enough being introduced to a new home and I don't want to stress her out by upping her food items just yet. She was on fairly large pinky mice and judging by how she took it down I think they'll be fine for her for a while.

I always have a fan going in my room for my pythons and Dratini (my Diamond who likes lower temps...) has never had a problem. I'll wait a week before I try feed her again but I am not 100% sure it is the heat.
