Ok guys so i know alot of you hate these thermostats due to the annoying alarm that comes on when it gets 2oC lower or higher than the setting. So i decided to show you how to remove the little bugger :)
Its quite easy, i've had mine done for months now and all that happens when the temps get low or high is that the little flashing alarm light comes on with no annoying noises.
All you have to do is open the sucker up and unscrew the front computer chip thingy that has all the lights/buttons on it to find a little black speaker/alarm and gently pull it off the chip with a small flathead screwdriver, obviously make sure the device isnt plugged in first ;)
and its that simple! no more alarms waking me up when it changes from night to day mode or vise versa and a brilliant quality thermostat working like a charm :) i'll add pictures of the alarm itself so you dont end up pulling out the wrong thing too :)
Enjoy guys, Nick
