That's pathetic. You should be allowed to take them out of the house sometimes.
What about the front lawn? Can I walk my bearded dragon there?
No! It needs to be inside the house.
Can I let my lizards and snakes loose in the house for exercise?
No! They need to be kept in enclosures at all time!
Am I allowed to swap my lizards and snakes from cage to cage?
No! Once they're in the cage they stay in the cage.
Am I allowed to handle my lizards and snakes?
No! They must remain in the cage at all times.
Honestly, where does it stop? How stupid.
Does that law differ from state to state?

Yeah, I know, Over dramatic...

The question was can it leave the property, not the enclosure. Having it on the lawn would be fine.

Tone down the drama a bit...

You can have them out on your property (including the yard)... just not in public for "display". It's not advisable to have them in the front yard... no need to seek attention, the sun is the same in the backyard if you just want to sun them. Space is all the same for them to run around inside or out.

its not pathetic its to stop idiots using them as a fashion accessories down at the shopping centre

its also to stop unnecessary stress on the reptiles ( you know something we should be taking the steps to AVOID not encourage )

you can take them on the front lawn no probs , out of that no , not with out a good reason , the fact you wanted to show it off isnt good enough

youve taken the rule way out of context

Oh well. Whatever. I don't take them out unless I have a good reason anyway. Sad you can't take them for walks like they do overseas though.

Well my beardie girl loves going for car rides. It just sucks that I now know I have to stop taking her... Maybe I'll just take a lot more trips to the vet...
Or does inside my car, which is my property, allowed?

You would do well to read and understand your licence conditions, The licenced premises is where YOU reside!!!!

I believe the consensus and license conditions have been voiced appropriately, if there is a need for further clarification I suggest you check your license conditions or phone up your local authority
