Hi all

I Finally got my first snake just over 3 weeks ago. He/she is a jungle python, 7 months old. Even though I did plenty of research I still find myself stressing out about everything (new 'mum' and all) but I'm particularly worried about his retained spectacles? if in fact they are. He was purchased like this. He is active most nights and feeds extremely well. Has a cool end of 23 and a hot end of 33, two hides, some dowel to climb on and a fake vine. enclosure size is 30x30x30.

Just wondering if it is retained spectacles? should i try to remove them or wait until his next shed which he SHOULD be coming up to but being a new keeper and being unable to see his eyes i cannot tell and if it isn't any ideas of what it could be?

I have of course contacted the breeder (day after purchase) but he said everything was fine with his eyes but seeing as nothing changed I'm just a bit worried.

Thanks in advance.

I thought it was weird but being new i thought it was best to listen to the breeder. I think it might be best just to get him to the vet?.

Thanks :) I've read many retained eye spectacle sheds over the last 3 weeks! but not many with photos and just wanted to make sure that its all it was.
