hey guys,
It’s been 2 weeks since I got my sand monitor and he hasn’t been eating at all, usually my reptiles start eating 2-3 days after I got them, so I’m really worried that my sand monitor hasn’t been eating for 2 weeks.
I’ve tried to feed him with pinkies, crickets, worms, chicken neck, salmon, eggs and turkey.
My sand monitor is about 4-5 months old, the temperatures are 60-70 hot spot, 33-35 overall, 27-30 cool spot, he has a lot of caves and substrate to dig in. I haven’t handled it at all, and he is pretty active during the day, always exploring and walking around his enclosure.
I’m really thinking about taking him to the vet or try to force eating if he doesn’t eat before Christmas
[doublepost=1545101261,1545100941][/doublepost]This is my monitor and his tank, I’m planning to move him to a bigger and wooden enclosure after Christmas or new year.
I’d really appreciate some advices and help.
Thanks in advance
