Was doing a little research on centipedes the other day as I'm keeping a few.. A couple of sites I looked at said that centipedes will scavenge as well? Now as hard as it is to believe I've heard the net can sometimes not be the most accurate source.. Can anyone set me straight on wether centipedes can/do scavenge?

i just got three the other day, i havent offered dead prey but it cant hurt to try, i fed them a small mealie the morning i got them and they were gone that arvo, offer them a prekilled cricket and see what happens

I was more-so asking as one of the mealies in the enclosure kicked the bucket all by itself. I was wondering whether I should take it out or leave it for him. I have 3 coming in the mail, but they've been almost a week!

Got any pics of yours and your set-ups?

i'd take it out if it died.

the 3 little cups in the middle are what i keep my pedes in. Hope the pedes your getting in the mail have some moisture as they dry out very quickly

Yeah I know I'm getting worried... They were free though so there's no financial defecit luckily. But I hope they'll be OK. Where did you get yours from?
