The World Around Us with Lisa McCune
Hunt for the Lost Serpent
6.30pm - 7.30pm | Seven
Documentary Premiere

The land down-under is seething with venomous snakes that bite hundreds of people every year. If victims aren't treated with anti-venom right away, they can die. That means it's crucial to have a good supply of anti-venom on hand. Craig and Jackie Adams-Maher collect rare and dangerous snakes for their venom to make anti-venom. Today, they're preparing for one of the most important expeditions of their careers - a mission impossible - to capture a venomous snake that's never been brought back alive - the elusive Weigeli. They set off for a two-week trek through the remote and unforgiving terrain of the Kimberleys, in search of an extremely rare snake - the Weigeli - which could be the missing link between two of Australia's most deadly snakes, the King and Eastern Brown. Finding a new species of snake in the 21st century is extremely rare - finding and capturing one alive to bring home - in two weeks - is an even tougher challenge.

I find the Great debate anything but Great! It's just another boring Ray hour!

The worst auto censorship story is from Joel on software. If you are on his voluntary email list he sends you an email once every six months. Lots of nerds subscribe. Anyhow one of his mails was rejected by AOL (they have an auto censor policy, you can opt out if you are aware of it). Turns out he had the word "Blow" and another related word 1500 words later.

Theres a difference? ......................[abuse away Fuscus] :p ................wabbit theason!

Thsi election is far to important to be wasting time on frivolous programs about some snakesthat probably dont exist.
