I agree with your thoughts. The first is definitely a male. I would summarize that the second is a girl based on the pre-anal & femoral pores being less distinct, the tail clearly does taper more rapidly and her vent width is narrower. Plus the aerial photo indicates heads size that would also suggest a female. The total length you wrote below also strongly suggests a female assuming she's fully grown (> 1yo) and had a good feeding history.
These of course are simply educated guesses based on photos supplied which aren't shot from the same distance to provide exactly comparable images. There is always the chance of a less dominant male not peaking physically due to a dominant male presence and as such can confuse the matter.
I do however, second Kirby's comment that I would not breed this year. She definitely needs more weight as breeding season is a very physically rigorous time. You want her to eat until she's full most days in preparation for breeding with plenty of calcium on all feeds and a multi vitamin once feed per week. It can be quite stressful too, the males can inflict significant wounds to the neck during copulation and if she's a healthy weight and fighting fit she'll cope much better!
