I know this a bit off topic but I think there is something wrong with my Cockatoo's tongue. Any advice on what is wrong with him would be very helpful.
 
man, thats sick. took me a while to work it out. just not the best thing to post though. IMO.

I've seen this before in cockatoos. It's called Jagger Syndrome, and it's pretty nasty. There's a psychological disorder associated with it, which causes the bird to puff up it's chest and strut around the cage alot, often with the head moving forward and back, emu fashion.

There is no cure. The bird will get very old, but will continue to strut (and squawk alot) til the day it dies. Thankfully, its not a zoonosis.
