OMG that's a blind snake yeah? I reckon they're amazing!! I wonder what they'd be like to keep?

They would be the biggest pain in the bum to keep ever i recon and the best part would be that you never ever seee them!

what about this:

xD

That looks like a secretive or small eyed snake yeah? Well i've found some young ones of them, not quite as short as this little thing and definately far far girthier lol. It's cute but :p

Looks like an Aprasia (Worm lizard) to me. Where was if found?

Found it in darwin. It's def a blind snake of some description, it had no ears and its eyes were too small to be any kind of lizard and i don't think we get any of the Aprasia genus up here.

I know this isnt as small as the others but its the smallest blind snake ive seen !!!

Since we are all showing pictures of little snakes I thought that I would put up this picture of a 'big' little snake.

That's one robust blind snake hashy!
Alex, I have seen smaller blind snakes here on the Sunshine Coast while out herping, and just cruising around my house.

Don't have any pics but Austrelaps Labialis would be the smallest, wouldn't it? Only by another 6cm on that one though.if it's a Tovelli. Looks like one from the pictures I've seen.

I tried raising a number of juveniles a few years ago - I was cutting tails off of 3 day old mice to force feed them and it was leaving lumps in their guts!

I have some photo's on the other computer, I'll see if I can find them.

Sounds about right when you think of the size they'd have to be as juvies....as if "regular" sized hatchlings aren't hard enough to get feeding  That'd be good, I haven't seen too many pics of them.
