hey ppl, my cousin has a juvinile green tree snake which lately has had about 4-6 lumps on the skin. If ya touch the blisters puss comes out. Would this be because of humidity ? Anyway the snake is going to shed, presumibly because of the blisters. Would shedding get rid of them?
thanx

Ackie,
I have seen arboreal boa's with a skin blistering like you describe, and yes, it was due to the guy spraying water onto the snakes skin, and that coupled with insufficent ventilation and hot spots led to 100% humidity and so the water just stayed on the surface of the snake and produced a scale rot underneath and blisters on the surface of the snake.

However, you shouldn't discount other courses like parasites and I am sure others on this site might have other idea's.
