Hey all i have a year and a bit old Childrens python and would like to know how do i go about feeding 2 mice, like do i have to wait till the 1st one is far down or what because he is able to eat an adult mouse but i have 2 weener mice ( i think thats what they are) and 1 just doesnt seem to make a big lump in his belly

Lol yeah i know people do it i just dont know if its like one the one straight after or do i wait or something

I feed my Monty boo 2 quails a fortnight and I just put them in his tank. He’ll eat one and then once he’s done he’ll go for the next one, then he’ll sit content with himself. I don’t think it really matters if you wait to feed the next one, he will know when he’s ready to eat it.

wen i feed mine two. i let him finish the first and then about an hour later give him the other. but its entirely up to u. If he wants one after the other i cant see there being any problem with that.

when I feed hatchies, yearlings or adults two food items.. I just wait till the first one has gone down and theres no tail still showing.. I always offer food items head first usually with tongs or forceps to make sure they grab the item by the head instead of mid body, and actually eat the item.

Thanks all ill feed him today fingers crossed that this actually fills him up, He is supposed to be on adult mice but i still have some of the smaller ones left over and there is no point throwing them out

Lol just my luck he is going to be shedding soon, Dull colours and no interest in food so i gave him a little squirt of water and left him be... Goodbye 2 mice lol

It's not uncommon for my Bredli to wrap himself around two rats at the same time. Holding one with his tail whilst downing the other. They always sort themselves out.

If you're feeding your snake 2 though cause its not making a big enough lump, I'd say up the size of your food.

Its not the food size i already know he is good for an adult mouse because i fed it to him but there was an accident with the mice and transport so ill have to buy new ones but i still have some of the smaller size and thought it would be good to give him two and get rid of them instead of wasting them

there was an accident with the mice and transport

did the little transport trailer come loose from the tow mouse after one of the timber wheels got a flat and rolled the trailer, ending in a fireball and rodent bodies everywhere - its a common problem. upgrade to a tow rat for a higher load rating
