It'll be fine.

Its not causing him any dis comfort it looks like how we would have hairs stand up on the back of our necks the arnt dry or crusty they go down when you run your finger over them and they dont look oit of place at all

Take it to a vet ASAP

Are you just being contradictory or are you serious? If you are being either, it's a ridiculous response.

Your snake will be fine, it will either settle down at the next shed, or it may just be that the scales on the neck, which are narrower and longer than the main body scales, are a bit bent from the way it has curled up. I see this quite often when a snake has been in one position for a while, and they simple flatten out within a few minutes.

Your ridicule, it might have scale rot.

Bugga, I want a bredli!!!!! Just got a jungle though so I shouldn't be greedy  Good luck with him mate ;)

Oh and by the way, if there is puss coming out of the scales or they look inflamed, I would worry. But right now your little one will be fine!!!

Yeah they went down this arvo you wouldnt even know

still saying to get it to a vet asap is ridiculous , for arguments sake lets say this snake does have scale rot , from whats described its in its very very minor stages hasn't even changed colour so in this case it could be fixed by simply rectifying the cause which is normally dirty wet conditions , with out the need to rush the snake off to the vet

so your previous post was a little silly , the snake does not need to be rushed off to the vet , if he had showed us pictures of a snake with definite scale rot so bad the scales where splitting , then your previous post would have been in order and wouldn't have been so ridiculous and over the top as it is in this case

Perhaps the term "not necessary" would have been a better turn of phrase.

Saying that there are 6 scales that have risen slightly doesn't even sound like scale rot. If the person was to say there was a slight redness, cracking & discoloured scales (usually ventral scale) it could be early signs of scale rot.
