it is a keelback,but dont forget guys rough scale snakes look very much like keelbacks so always double check
 
That's a very unwise assumption and bad advice to newbies reading this thread.
In this case it probably is a Keelback but it's much safer to consider the possibility of it being a Rough-scaled Snake.
If in doubt..ALWAYS a Keelback...
 
Speaking of Keelback, I found a baby the other day about big as my hand and let him go by the creek... have found heaps there " Angry snake lol" chasing me around!!!
