If I've done this right heres a pic of a snake we spotted in the sand dunes of Innes National Park last weekend.
We don't know a lot about snakes so have tried to look it up in books etc but still uncertain what type it is.

Not a very good pic I'm afraid but you can just see the beautiful coppery coloured head disappearing off the top of the pic. (Someone has suggested pygmy copperhead??)

Any ideas???
 
It's a yellow faced whip snake (LOL i have no clue whatsoever, just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon :D)

Yellow-faced Whip Snake....why?....because of its slender build, general colour, and particularly the reddish brown flush on the forepart of the body which was the clincher..
