Snake IQ test

Hi guys,
Have just done a little IQ test on my children’s pythons.
Time taken to find shade on a warm spring morning.
Time 10.37am
Temp 27.5*C (guessing)
Wind factor- Almost nil
Snakes participated- 4 Childreni( didn’t volunteer - picked randomly)
1 generic looking female het T+ - 7 mins
1 Marble female het Ghost - Would still be looking if I didn’t move her to shade - 37 mins
1 T+ male het marble - 16 mins
1 Marble male het T+ 23 mins had to follow my shadow or would still be looking.
Both females released at same time.
Both males released at same time.

My conclusion-
I am not saying females are smarter than males.
Normal looking snakes are smarter than morphs.
T+ Males(visual) het for marble are smarter than Marble males (visual) het for T+
Marble females het ghost, are 17 year old kids with a license- doing laps but going nowhere ???
Normal = Smartest
T+ = Average
Marble = Not bright
Let me know if you have done any tests of your own and who came out on top and who didn’t.

Why would they find shade on a morning when theyre tryna get warm in the sun?

Usually 10 mins is enough sun, then they look at cooler spots , dumb **** marbles just kept going in circles ?

Although interesting I'm not sure you can accurately determine the IQ of a snake with such a study.. There's so many factors to consider like, what was their body temp when put outside, what they were housed in outside, how well they accept change, how mature/reproductive they are? And many more.. Most captive reptiles keep indoors will change almost instantly when being put outside for a bask. I've noticed with lizards especially their natural defence instincts are triggered
