snake not eating!!!!

well my snake hasnt eatn for 4 weeks he has gon to but hant touche it i have heated him either heat mat or globe but h wont eat he is in a 1 ft by 15cm enclosur he s abut 6 moths old but hasnt touched his food please help he had kitty litter flooring but changed to news paper today..... PLEASE HELP I AM WORRIED!!!!!

i just had same problem with my childrens python i got new rats and left it in tank checked back 10 min later it was gone next feed tryed old rat and she wouldnt eat again but then ate one of new rats

They sense the cold waether and they dont digest as fast and slow down alot aswell... mine have started doing all this and feeds only about every 4-5 weeks

It's a little hard to figure out from your post whether he is heated or not but it isn't unusual for them to go off their food this time of year. 4 weeks is certainly nothing to worry about, even at the age he is he can go a few months without food. Bump the temperature up to around 30 at the hot end and try in a couple of days.

If you are genuinely in need of help, there are a few things that people need to know to have any reasonable chance at diagnosing the problem, let alone the solution. What species of snake are we talking about? How old is it? What is it’s length and weight? What temperature regime do you have it under? What has been it’s feeding regime prior to this? Without these basic details, it’s a bit like you going to the doctor and saying “Doc, I don’t feel well. Is there something you can do for me?”

I could suggest numerous solutions but I really don’t know how appropriate they are for your particular circumstances without more detailed relevant information….

l had the same problem
except he did not eat for forur months !!!!!!!
l suggest making his tank a tiny bit warmer ( worked for me )
