Ok i bought a snake a month or two ago.
And the previous owners where feeding her live mice.
So i fed her 2 live when i first got her but now i started to try and feed her dead mice.
But i cant get her to eat one i have done the jiggling in front of her face thing but it didn't work.
Any ideas???

Make sure its hot, cut the head open, put it in a really small space with the dead mouse (google cup feeding)..
If not leave it for a month or two then it will take it.

are you trying frozen or fresh killed
fresh killed is easier to start the change

as above
a little bit of hunger fixes most feeding problems
wont hurt the snake at all to miss a few feeds

freshly killed is the way to go as longqi said

Also can't stress enough about having it nice and warm. Makes a huge difference.

If you want to feed frozen, freshly killed and it won't eat either try feeding a live feed it a live feed as wells a defrosted smaller size food. When it's taking the last gulp from freshly killed then put the defrosted one in it's mouth. Try this for a few time then it should take the defrosted eventually. If not you might stick to fresh killed. I also use this method when introducing new food items that they never taken before.

so what is the best way to kill the mouse before i feed it to my snake? (for freshly killed prey)
