Snakes of Australia software i need help

Hello All

Am hoping that someone has this software and having probs with it its on my computer but when i go to run it this comes up



Can't load custom Control DLL:'C:\WEBSNAKE\KNIFE.VBX'

Does anyone know what i should do any help would be great.

Hey PK,

I am not sure but this may be the file you are after, click here to download it, then stick it in C:\Websnake\ and run the program. I don't have the software but searching yahoo came up with this file.

Knife.vbx is really out of date and may not be compatable with current windows.
What operating system are you using?
I Have snakes of Australia (don't like it). I'll see if I can install it and replicate the problem.
This site CLAIMS to fix problems but I haven't used it so cannot vouch for it

I use a big hammer for files like that, if that dosent work, use a bigger hammer lol
try re-installing the program? be sure to delete all reg entries first. :wink:

Snakes of Australia is an ancient program from windows 3.1 days. It uses ini files rather than registry settings. Since the emergence of the internet, information CDs are just not worth producing.

hi all

i have tried everything to get this to work grrrrrrrrrrrr hate computers i downloaded that file and still nothing i get the same thing about the knife file.
So am lost now done everything i could

I'll just put it down as filed with the rest of the cd's lol and i paid good money for it to Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Doesn't look good

Problem: Program will not start, reporting problem with Knife.VBX or IMK.DLL

Cause: Changes made by Microsoft in Windows 98se and later can prevent XXX from working.

Cure: Sadly, none. XXXX is a 16 bit program written for Windows 3.1 and 95. No changes you can make to Windows (even compatibility mode) will get this working.
