I was really surprised at how he documented and categorised each of the species. I understand they base the deadliest on the most amount of people that die from it, which I don't think is entirely fair given that most of the people that die are because they live so remotely. If they had access to the anti-venom then that snake wouldn't have such a high rating. However you can't expect certain communities of Asia & Africa to just evolve overnight and have on hand a lot of trained professionals and hospitals. Still Australia has some of the deadliest in the world, we are just lucky enough to have the medical professionals and the help we need to prevent the deaths.
