I knew they were found in the southern parts....but that far south? Hmmm Nice diamond regardless.

Diamonds are everywhere along the escarpment down here. If you go for a walk you'll see heaps of them this year it must have been a bumper year for them.

I remember in primary school at nareena hills we backed onto an escarpment / creek thingy and quite a large one stole our monkey bars for one after noon we weren't alowed near them until it left ... wahhh...

But that was the start of me loving snakes, Yeah, most common I saw in the gong are diamonds and RBBs...
If you knew the area yeah, they are all around - I think they go as far south as Nowra or even further tbh... (don't they merge with some form of carpet further south?)

Could be either , but that is a very typical looking diamond for that area.

They go alot further than that! Over the Victorian border. But they don't merge with any other form of carpet down south.
