some enclosure rack questions

hi guys i am planning to build a rack of enclosures and i have a few questions (please with me as i am completely new to DIY )

1.what is the best material to make the enclosures out of?
2.where is the best place to get those materials?
3. do the people at the shop cut the pieces to size?

3. bunning's cuts it to size about $1 a cut

If u draw a plan what sizes u want for yr enclosures then go to cabinetmaker like kitchen place and ask for a quote to build or flat pack

yeah cabinet maker is alot cheaper then bunnings, for my 4 level enclosure just the wood would have been 179 from bunnings but got a cabinet maker to cut everything to size and seal all the edges for $95 total

As above except I was never asked to pay for cuts at Bunnings (or Masters) I guess if you buy most materials there?

P.S. Masters can slightly cheaper sometimes and staff are a lot friendly too!
