Sometimes you gotta wonder

Is it all worth it!
We have over 30 pets here, (lost count, ran out of fingers and toes)
I LOVE animals. 13 snakes, 4 lizards, cat, dog, rat, birds and 4 chickens, not to mention our wild pets. We have 2 green frogs that live in the bottom of our plant pot on the front porch. They get picked up and handle quite well then go back into the pot. A Gecko that also lives on our porch, gets handled and still hangs around. Our wild Blue Tongues that live under our BBQ area. They breed every year, always saving the babies from the lawn mower.
But OMG can't they stress ya out! Escaping snakes, sick lizards, and I also have a red cap parrot that we moved into a galah cage ready to be sold and it has ripped out all it's tail feathers from stress. So it's back in the aviary and happy again.
With working full time, 3 kids, and getting everything organised for the shop, I think my brain just may explode.
But yep, in MHO, They're worth every stressful, happy, emotional, fun and peeved off minute.

Its all good though. 2 snakes, 3 dogs and 1 cat that has to be put down this week. He is 13 this year and has FIV (feline aids). Its not going to be easy, I love that cat.

wow bouncer, thats alot of pets. i ave 3 snakes. 5 lizards, bout 30 fish. bunch of wild froggies. 2 dogs. one guinneepig. (can't spell lol).

I have

2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets (will be 3 this weekend - he only has 3 legs though - rescue case), 2 galahs, 1 rainbow lorikeet, 1 budgie, 5 bearded dragons, 1 coastal carpet, 7 mice and 1 siamese fighter.....

Its alot but always worth it

i too find humans the most stressfull hehe, we have 7 snakes (this week), 4 lizzards, 3 dogs, a cat, a fish, 2 spiders. and ive got big plans for more snakes over the next couple of weeks.

1 snake, 30 odd horses, 1 cat 3 dogs 2 kangaroos, 1 wombat, 1 brushtailed possum, 2 oscars, goldfish, 2 kids, had 2 alpacas, 2 ostriches and cashmire goats, peacocks, phesants, guinepigs, saltwatertank with lion fish, moray eels wrasse,

the missus is busy the snake is mine, she can have the rest !
