Spotted python size

Hi all, new here and new to pythons. Been a breeder of bearded dragons however my knowledge of pythons is still lacking. So i have a questions..... looking at a spotted python and my concern is the one locally available is advertised as 20cm and 9 months old feeding on fuzzy, is this very small for its age?
