Hi, I was just wondering if i should be able to keep a male and female spotted python in a 3 foot tank together or should i keep them seperate? any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You can house them together but their is a chance of them eating each other and if your looking at breeding its best to keep them apart do when they are together they have the urge to mate kinda thing....

but i have never done it i just asked when i started as thats what i wanted:p

Feeding separately is important - if one finishes their food quicker than the other - then all hell can break loose!

Personally, a fully grown spotted is best suited to that size tank - not yearlings... and one fully grown spotted would be best for a 3 footer - I have an adult in a 4 footer and she would be uncomfortable with a tank mate....

Though, ironically, I have two adult coastal carpets who spend most of their time, in a 4 cubic metre enclosure, huddled together in one smallish hide....
