Hi all, I found this very interesting article on a smuggling racket that's operating out of India and I was wondering what u'r opinion on this is....

Also a person I know has been given the responsibility to try and study the population of these animals in the wild to see how badly they are affected or if they are stable....He's trying to work out a good method to go about doing this....... I was hoping to get some ideas from u guys to help this person achieve what he's set out to do........

For those who don't know, it's illegal to import or export reptiles in and out of India.... Hoping to hear from u soon...... cheers

Oh by the way, this person has been trying to build a relationship with the tribes who live in this area to help him with the population estimation project and they are the ones who catch these animals to supply to the smugglers.....
