Hi. im just letting you know what im buying in the next few weeks.

1x Phlogius EUNICE

1xUrodacus yaschenkoi
1xLiochele waigiensis
2xUrodacus manicatus

What do you think? Also can i house 2 black rock scorps in the same enclosure and are they easy to breed?

Im going to purchase these from www.thegreenscorpion.com.au has anyone bought live pets from this site if so how is it.

And if you own these species how are they, do you think they are good chioces for a first time scorp and t owner?

Thanks.

PS - bylo since im buying a few things from you do i get a discount?

I'm also thinking about getting some T's but at the moment I can't afford to buy heating for them... are you heating yours? Or will you just be keeping them at room temperature?

Scorps

Scorps are easily housed together. I would make sure they are same size though and if you intend on breeding make sure they give you a male and female:lol:

im just going to use a desk lamp with a red party globe to heat my T, so i can house 2 of the same species scorps together, how hard are they to breed if housed to gether will i just gradually see my female get larger then a few weeks later have her covered in little white scorps?

Thanks

there gestation period is 1yr so you will be waiting a while before you get babie scorps

:shock:a whole year geez for a bug you'd think they'd wanna get it done quick smart before they get squashed lol

Can't give much advice about the scorps but I have two Eunice T's. They've been dead easy to look after. I've got them in sphagnum moss and they've dug big burrows. I haven't seen much of them for the last couple of months but they've both come out tonight to take a few mealworms each. I've been using a darkblue reptile globe for heating but its not that cold up here anyway. The coldest my animal room has gotten in the last month has been 17 degrees. Follow the caresheets you get and you'll be fine. Just don't expect much excitement from your T, at least until it escapes in your bedroom :D

Scorps and carnivorous and cannibalistic. You might get away with keeping them together for a while but chances are they will eat each other in the end. Ive had animals together for years then one night decide that their partners lunch. Lychas species are more tolerant of each other by far, as are some Liocheles species. The majority of the Urodacus species will view other scorpions as a potential meal.

depends on what scorpion, u.manicatus has a gestation period of 18 months

never house urodacus manicatus together, from birth its about 4.5years to adult and they have a 1.5yr geastation period. Liocheles can be kept together no worries. Also you may need heating, you could keep them all in a big plastic tub and just put a heat matt under it. If you need to know anything else please pm me.
