Hi all,
I've just found a baby stick insect in my car (about 7cm total lenght) and I fell in love with it. Not sure what the species name is (don't even know how many species of these there are) but it's light brown with white-ish stripe down it's back.

Just wondering how hard they are to keep, what their requirements are, diet, etc. I know some of you have kept/do keep them so any help would be great.

I have kept them since I was a young lad... I MENT LAD OK :).... I eep them in a very well ventilated cage, and give them fresh black wattle leaves every morning, and mist the branches with water a couple times a day...
Cheers

Thanks Brodes...BTW, you were once a las??? Anyway, the operation went great - can't even tell :)

What's a good alternative to black wattle leaves? Do you know anything else they can eat?

Thanks mate,
Simon Archibald
