Switching feeds from mice to rats...

I'm sure this thread already exists somewhere ... but am interested to hear people's tips on how to get a hatchling/yearling python that seems obsessed in only eating mice to switch to eating rats???

Are there some species that are easier than others? What has more nutritional value to the python?

Defrost them together then rub the rat with the mouse (aka scenting). As time goes on just reduce how much you rub them together and eventually just defrosting them together will be enough. That worked for my Bredli.
As for nutritional value I think there are a number of opinions but there's no point keeping a large species on mice for obvious reasons.
