tadpole behaviour

we rescued some tadpoles from our bulilding site a few weeks ago and kept them in a styrofoam box until last week when we lashed out on a small aquarium kit.
while they were in the styro box they were very quiet and stayed on the bottom .
after a week in the aquarium they are hurtling around at a great pace.
is this abnormal behaviour or are they just happy to be out of the box?

did you have some sort of filter in the box ??? there was probly not enough oxygen in the water for them if you didnt have some sort of filter or powerhead to move the water around

power head will be two strong and likely to kill them.

Get a air pump with an airstone.
