I wonder how much these mighty "Hunters" will pay to "hunt" a croc ? what a thrill!

It makes sense to shoot at close range, and only at cloe range, if u fire long range, then u injure it and if it goes into the water or heading for the water u wont be close enough to finish it off,

i think its a great idea, i wouldnt mind destroying some crocs, finally something good to do in Australia, Hunting Wise

Oh definatly make a clean instant kill, first time every time. anything less is unacceptable.
my point there is first, that calling it "hunting" is a bit rich. call a spade a spade, its killing plain and simple. second, why let any fool with a gun and enough dollars pay to do the job, seems like the issue is about money as much as keeping numbers down. Unless of course the money goes to conservation or other worthwhile cause. Also, how many rich cowboys will rock up to shoot a croc? how many crocs are there to be shot? does this mean there will be seasons?
Surley, giving one or two licensed professionals a full time job would make sense?
Im waiting for the first rspca uproar over an injured escaped croc or the first human hunter injury or fatality.

i reckon do the buffalo first.............. bloodly things kept trying to knock our house down with their rubbing on the corners!!!!! And ate all my new banana's!!!! :x

even talking abt shooting must be getting harder these days, said i had to register to read the story!! talk abt government control

Well i think the attraction is goin to be for big rich americans or rich tourist, just so that they can say they have killed a croc , i dont think it would matter to them if it was sport or not. hunting crocs for port is stupid, must be the easiest kill in history, i mean, slow, basking alot of the time. no danger if ur on a car.

Maybe while the rich hubbies are crackin off a few rounds up north, they can fly the ladies down south for a bit of baby fur seal clubbing?
What a tourism package.

Sounds like a winner nothn2do, be a tourism boom, they could cull/"hunt" roo, koalas, save the pounds a few $$ by shooting strays and even pay to cull livestock during drought! Yehaa!
Aw-stralia, the new Africa!

You obviously know next to nothing about crocodiles Blue Streak.

Hehehe! Dave can wound a dog chasing and trying to kill our sheep with a triple 222 with a sight on it from our lounge room window. No sheep there at the moment. Don't want to waste our water kilolitres on a paddock with no sheep in it hey? Go the rain water tanks!! Every house in SA and all other states should have one. Cheers Cheryl

Relos in Melbourne have wanted to place a rainwater tank in for about 5 years, but its against the local council rules.

Don't think it is any more Fuscy old boy, we actually get gov rebates for installing them now.

Well, Dave only wounded the stupid dog at about 7 or 800 metres, we had to go looking for the darn G.S. Damn Alsatian B's. the owner came after us with an iron bar. I'm sure he would have taken to Dave with it if I wasn't there helping to look for the wounded one. The dogs were supposed to have been tied up on a building site. We didn't know who's dogs they were hey??? Sheep killing dogs are not looked on very kindly round here hey?
