I've been having trouble getting temps right today in my bredli's tub. It's meant to be like 3c here so I guess thats why, her hot end is about 30c or so and 22-24c, I have the oil heater in the her room though, will it matter if she is exposed to those temps for a few hours? (temp should be ok now I've put the heater up, its prob been 20c for say 2-3hours) She has had a feed sunday morning, seems like there is no lumps anymore, but probably still needs to digest, will she be ok?

It shouldn't be a problem; but it demonstates the problem of using click clacks which have no insulation or thermal mass. A timber cage with some sort of masonary heat bank, such as a brick or rock will provide much better relief from temperature extremes than a plastic or glass tank..

Yes I understand what you mean, she isn't very big, (juvi) so thats why she is in there, I'll be putting her into a melamine (spelling?) enclosure, I'm just building one now for my lizard ;)

if she has the access to teh right temps she'll be right,...

Thanks, came back from bunnings (buying stuff for a 4x2x2 enclosure) and the temps were 34.5c in the hot end hide, she moved from the cool end hide 25c to hot end, thats good so she can digest :D

You may want to cover at least part of the tub with a blanket for a while. It will help insulate. She will be fine in a larger (and better insulated) enclosure if you provide several small hides at both warm and cool spots. I'm anxious to move my latest baby out of the tub for the same reason. I put the tub on top of a larger enclosure to help with heating.

Thanks, at night I put some newspaper on the tub for the night, It didn't cross my mind to do it this morning. She seems alright anyway, she is coming out now, since its becoming dark

She is drinking! never seen her do that till tonight. she is streched the whole tub lol, her tail is still in the hide otherside of the tub.
