I know there are others out there that regularly check the 'Reptiles and Amphibians' classifieds on Petlink. I'm currently amazed at the number of people advertising their rabbits, guinea pigs, rex rats and manx mice for sale 'to a good home' amongst all the ads for reptiles.

Does anybody else find this amusing, or is it just me?

:p

And also all the people selling fish and other non-reptile/amphibian type animals....are they stupid or just plain ignorant???

Perhaps after you daughter has lost interest in the animal, and you have been trying to give it away for six months, and you keep finding presents everywhere (or you are sick of cleaning out the cage) sending the animal to a reptile keeper doesn'r seem like such a bad idea.

Seriously, 1/2 the people that visit my place don't see the link between the herps and the rodents.

LOL, I reckon it's hilarious :) I usually send an email telling them that my Python would love to give it a good home :) Don't get many replies though :(

Yeah, I was gonna mention them (like the guy with the pair of Bristlenose Catfish, or the Red Shock Flowerhorn Cichlids) but they aren't amusing, just damn annoying.
