Hi all
we are expecting our first clutch of central beardies.:p:D
We have the incubator running at 29.5degC and want to test the temp of the egg container.
The container is 300 x 300 x 150mm and we have 50mm of vermiculite with 50/50 BW mix. We want to "test run" the egg box in the incubator to check temps.
If the girl berdie lays eggs during the next day or 2 would it be OK to use this egg box that was in the incudator. We are not sure the temp difference from the eggs and the egg box from the incubator would harm the eggs?

The girl beardie was test digging today. we didnt expect it for another week.

Thanks

everything else sounds fine, I would make your vermiculite mix a bit drier though maybe 60/40 even drier

My incubater sits at 32 to make egg incubating cotainer 30.
It is ok to use your egg box in your bator, just wack them in dont fuss too much.
there shouldn't be too much moisture building up on the sides, just a little.
