Can anyone tell me what kind of THING this is ?
It seems to have 30 legs and is about 2 inches long ????

What are you feeding it? Defrosted or is it a live feeder only and how soon before you will be breeding them and how much do the hatchies go for? Do they come in a blonde phase and what sort of enclosure set up do I need. Do they need heating? ;-)

its generally kept in a uhh plastic container and umm fed live orange peel...

It's a type of centipede. Commonly they are refered to as "house centipedes". They are really common.

It's a centipede. That type is extremely common around Melbourne and I've also seen them in many locations up the east coast (and quite likely in many areas in which I haven't seen them). Those ones extremely fast moving, well done for catching it! Being a centipede, I assume it is carnivorous (all centipedes are carnivorous, as far as I know). It might be worth pointing out that most (as far as I know all) centipedes are venomous, although most won't cause you much bother.
