Thermostat troubles.

Okay. basically a battery in my thermostat is stuck, and i have been lazy and when it dies, just changing the one that was nt stcuk. anyway, now it doesnt work completely. I dont know where i'd get someone to fix it, or how much it would cost. i can post pics, cause i wount be able to get the camera round it, any ideas? please help

as above ? what thermostat has a battery in it ? unless its one of those LCD types?

yes, lcd. it has battery and plugs in to electricity.

just get rid of it and buy a microclimate

i cant get rid of it, cause its wired up with my heat light fitting, and i dunno how to rewire everything and i dont wanna get rid of the fittings

make sure both the positive and negative terminals are touching the battery correctly.

Bend the terminal tabs out a little with a screw driver if you have to.

Make sure your battery is not actually a dead one..
