I know most snakes don't require UV exposure but some people say it can be benefical for snake activity, feeding and general health. But is it possible to provide too much UV? Say if you use a 10.0 or 5.0 uv tube for a snake?
 
Yep- too much UV can cataracts in domestic snakes.
