Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows how I would go about transporting Turtles. Am moving interstate and it's a 3 day drive with them.

Any help would be appreciated

If you do have them in plastic, don't have a lid on, not this time of year where you are.

Nver done it, but have transported heaps of lizards from Atherton to Sydney over 3 days (this time of year) and I kept them in calico bags which were covered by more bags (tented for ventilation)and I made them drink every time that I could. Not sure but I would have moistened the turtles with cold water at every rest stop (without anyone seeing)

I'd transport them in a dark container with damp/moist towels. with the darkness, they should just fall asleep (my guy does). as mentioned above, watch putting a lid on containers, humidity will build up and may cause problems

use a container with wet paper towels on the bottom and when you stop for pertol just renew the paper

sorry i can't help you there...................................but i LOVE turtles
