I have a vivarium which i'm making up and it will contain 2 sub-adult green tree frogs. So far for their substrate i've got is equal parts of cocopeat and orchid bark. Would a bit of compost be suitable to mix in as well? It's shop bought and 100% organic, so no added nasties. I'll be mixing in some spaghnum moss next week some time :)

This is tricky as the frogs get covered in the substrate and then hop in the water and turn the water bad in no time at all. One option is to use large river pebbles and put in some potted plants.

Would steer clear of any dirt like substance (cocopeat) . As ad said - it will get messy and irritate the frogs to no end! You will be doing water cleans ALL the time.
Gravel or river pebble stones are usually best. A little bit of sphagnum moss may liven it up a bit and add a more natural look without it being too messy.
