My one Murray short neck is terrorising the hell out of the other one. I bought them at the same time two years ago. They are about the same size, but one is much more aggressive than the other and as soon as the other one enters the water he chases and bites him. The more aggressive one has always been more aggressive - from when I first got them. The less aggressive one spends his days under a piece of plastic at the side of the pond.

I see from other closed threads that this has happened to others. Is the only solution to get rid of one of the two, or to just let the less aggressive one suffer. Any other turtle psychology anyone has found that works?

(They are in an outdoor pond, 1m x 2m x 60 cm so should be enough space for both).

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Greg

yup i had a couple of my ELN`s terrorising there pond mates , if u keep them together the aggresive one will cause damage to the other one . if the turtles wound/s get infected then u will have a very serious issue . can u devide the pond up [ put up a temp mesh wall ]
i ended up puting another pond in and putting the probblem turtle into that .

Moved the aggressive one to a new home

Issue resolved by moving the aggressive one to a pond without any other turtles. Thanks. Greg
