Howdy peeps,
For a new project I've ordered a 5x2x2 aquarium with a glass divider to separate basking areas from the main water area but I'm trying to figure out exactly where and how big this divider should be!
The shop owner said that he has done exactly this himself and suggested that more than 300mm of land base for the basking area is unnecessary (His water dragon preferred to spend time in and above the water anyway)
As far as I can tell though to provide a food dish, basking rock / branches & a hide is not going to be physically possible in a 300 x 600mm area.
Cheers
To clarify, both animals will eventually be put in a larger outdoor enclosure once mature
