Yeah i use an aqua one internal 500L/h filter for my smaller tank and its complete crap..doesnt pick up anything on the floor in the aquarium

Any1 know what another decent filter is for a tank with 2 10cm turtles in?
Where and how much would be cool aswell

Sadly, filters aren't designed to pick up debris from the bottom of fish tanks. They are all designed to pick up small particles and chemicals floating within the water. The best way to remove debris from the aquarium floor is to siphon it once a week or so.

That being said, the best filter for a turtle tank is a canister filter, the larger the better.

i find for removing waste from the bottom of my turtle tank a gravel vacumm is the best and easiest way cheap and available from all pet shops.also makes emptying the tank very easy come cleaning time
