Watch the roads guys. Our friends are waking up and crossing the roads. I saved a turtle this morning. Why can the world drive by a harmless creature while I am happy to turn back and move them off the roads.

Even when I go kayaking, as much as I hate spiders and bugs, if I see them struggling in the water I reach out with my paddle and lift them out. Bees are a popular one for landing in the water and unable to get out. They dry their wings and fly away.

my sawshell in an outside pond, woke up 10 days ago, very, very early. i am frightened to feed it, in case the food doesn,t digest inside, and it dies. did feed it once, no problem, and it is certainly looking for food...should i feed it again ?//////

Spotted another one "at the crossing" today. Its the first time I've actually seen one moving. They're usually already been scared into their shells by the time I come along but these are quiet roads. I helped him on his way anyway. Never know who's gonna come by next..

Actually got a letter about it the other day, also mentioned to look out for red sliders as apparently they are popping up every where. never said what to do if you find one.
