i thought this was rather original

its an old TV converted into an enclosure i think thats mad i'm going to next clean up find an old tv and have a bash

Thats really nice, be great for small snake, mac or childreni, or yearling anything maybe.
Think the crappy Bruce Lee? pics and swirls etc detract from the snake though, id go for faux rockwall at the back with some hanging green moss like plants draped over them to show the snake rather than divert attention from it. Just my thoughts. you may have plain mirror at the back to give ,you, and other human veiwers the effect of a larger inside space.
Eitherway its a classic, used to be fishtanks in them, now its herps too! how cool is that :D

yeah i don't like the pics in the backround much at all
i agree with the fake rock and stuff like that, that with the mirror would give a nice effect

i wonder what a 110cm telly would like like after the same conversion :)

I remember it being not that uncommon with fish hobbiests to use old TV set to house aquariums.

I think i would like it as an aquarium more than a reptile enclosure or better et some where i can put my BF when he is bad!! lol

he is always bad!!!!
Telling me not to get pythons......or trading my EWD's for ONE python

yeah right i have the FEVER now

how do you change channels?

Thats why men get to hold the remote, because they know how.
You might notice that most like to show everyone that they can do it to. All the time.

Why on earth would you get rid of 2 perfectly good EWDs.
Just because there is a python coming.
Maybe you should put the brakes on a few of the BF's interests.

oh don't worry nothing is going no where these are my babies (no jokes)
he will have to just get used to it

oh cool thanx for posting that bryony i was thinking about this idea a while ago but would have no idea how (and probably not the right tools) to go about it! were there any instructions or info on the site u got it from?

i just emailed the guy who made it to check

my friend said to gut it = taking out the cathode ray tube and big screentube assembily, then remove all other circuit bords and wires, line with some thin wood and bobs your aunty
then just get creative

clean up around your local area are good for picking up old tvs and the dump (a bit stinky though)

you know what, you could have the whole kitchen applience enclosue!!
mircowave converted in to enclosure, oven, water tank, computer!

oh the possibilities
