un-even marginals on my turtle's shell...

i posted a thread here about the condition of one of my turtle's shell, and got some good responses but i just realised something about his shell - the marginals on the left side has 12 where the right side, and every other turtle (as i understand) have 11. does this mean anything bad for my turtle?

the original thread about his shell was about the whiteness on his lower shell, i think it's on the second page now

Probably some sort of turtle birth defect. Have a look at the uneven vertebral scutes on this guy.
