hi all i have a bearded dragon dragon that was aquired as an eastern but it is now over a year old and only 23 cm long i ve been feeding him the exact same as my i have my other lizards that have grown fine he has all the uva and uvb and calcium supplements and recently has started to headbob and arm wave so wondering if he is not eastern?

As far as I'm aware Centrals have pink inside their mouths and Easterns have yellow. 23cm is very small for a 12 month old Central. My 6 month olds are 39cm. Maybe it's one of those dwarf varieties (Lawsonii I think they're called)

yeah i wass thinking the same thing do u no and obvious differnences beetween henrylawsoni to vitticeps and easterns

Pagona Henrylawsoni have a poorly developed beard. Where as an easterns beard will be very prominant. Also a Henrylawsoni's tail is much shorter in comparison to its body than and Easterns. I own both species so if u post a pic im sure i could help further. Hope this helps for the mean time.
