Unique Beginner Lizards

Hi,
I am asking this question for a friend. Do you know any beginner lizards apart from blue tongues or bearded dragons. Thinking of ackies but not sure.

Blueys, beardies, or ackies. The first two are better for handling for a beginner.

shinglebacks, also not cheap compared to either a beardie or eastern/blotched bluetongue.(then again the shingleback is part of the tiliqua genus, so it is a bleutongue...but oh well.)

Marbled Geckos,very easy care for them with the advantage of being small.Not a handling lizard though.

not cheap compared to eastern/blotched bluetongues, here they go for 100-300
